Is Canon a good company to work for?

I am in the process of pursuing a job with Canon. I really like the fact that they send all there techs to training before sending them to the field. I have many years experience with printers and photo labs but not copiers so the training is a big deal to me. Are there any current or ex Canon employees out there who can give me an idea of what the company is like to work for?

    Thanks

I once worked with a polish guy, who i must say was a fantastic techy, he Left the job and went to Cannon done a small amount of training etc. Need i say that he said it was the best move ever.

We never finish till exactly 5.30pm every day, even if all jobs done at 3pm. we would just sit around or be made clean the workshop till 5.30pm everyday.

My polish friend says he gets roughly 4-5 call logs on his computer log and when all are done he can head home if finished all calls roughly round 3pm the lucky git

go for it, working for canon for 8 years, and two years ago we went nationally from private national dealer to canon official and you get alot of help and training and you always get very nice people (great people really) that work for them (and not only) around the world to help you out in case you need
