    [Misc] Driver Issue

I have a Canon IR C3100 that I just got. On Canon's website, they listed 64bit drivers that work with it. I was able to get a 32bit UFR driver to work with this printer. I have been unable to get any of the 64bit PCL or UFRII drivers to work with it. Would I need to purchase a new kit that supports PCL and UFRII? I found one at:

    Copier Parts|Used Copier Parts|Discount Copier Parts|CANON PDL B1 NETWORK PRINT COLOR|9007A003AA

I would rather not get it if there is another way for this printer to work on a 64bit operating system.

    Thanks.

    imageRUNNER C3100 model is upgradeable.
It has UFR printing capabilities by default.
It can be upgraded to the C3100N model by purchasing the Color Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit-B1. The kit contains the Network Boot ROM and the Software (Drivers and Utilities) to setup PCL/PS printing.
In addition to the Network Printer Kit you need to upgrade the RAM from 512MB to 768MB. This 256MB DIMM-A2 can be ordered through Canon Sales.

    • Color Network Multi-PDLPrinter Kit-B1 - 9007A003AA
    • Color imageRUNNER 256MB Expansion RAM-A2 - 8350A002AA
