    Ir2200 feeder clicking

I have an IR2200 in the field that the document feeder just makes this loud clicking noise when pulling in the paper. Sometimes it jams and sometimes it doesn't but it always clicks. We have rebuilt the feeder but same problem. It sounds almost as if the gears aren't lining up but all gears look good....any ideas?

The jam code is 0003, could this sensor be causing the clicking? The customer is far away from our normal service area, so I'm hoping to resolve this in as few trips as possible.

The lid(p31) pivots front and rear.the rear pivot can get bent.this may be your problem..
