    [Misc] IRC2880i

    Hi guys,

    I just change all four new drums (genuine). However, the problem is begun (attached). Please help me.

    If the machine hasn't reported any error codes, check to make sure the ITB assy is in place and locked in position as it is still possible to push the process unit in without it locked down. This means the transfer doesn't make proper contact with the drums and PCQ results. Also ensure (if you haven't already) do a full auto grad adjustment.


    If it has given error codes please let us know as we can help - we have the power to rebuild!!!

      Perhaps you apply too much force when closing ITB assembly. Open and close it again, push down on front and rear side at the same time until you hear "click".

        I open the ITB unit and close it again. Checked again and again. however same result. NO ERROR CODE. JUST BLUR..

          bias tab for the transfer roller assembly can become bent and be making poor contact.

          contact for the secondary transfer roller must touch the transfer roller shaft. The contact should be touching the bottom side of the shaft of the secondary transfer roller.

          1. Remove the screw and then remove the black plastic contact holder shown below.

          2. Verify that the contact is touching the bottom side of the shaft of the secondary transfer roller as shown in the photo #2 below. If it is not reform the contact so that it is touching the shaft.
