Colortrac c40 with Canon IPF8300

Hello for all ,

i have canon ipf 8300 i installed colortrac scanner C40 and the problem that i faced it ,is the scanner didnt print when i click on the menu print it gives massage printer unavailable ,as i read on the user guide that its not compatible with this series ? is that's right ?

or theres somthing must do

PS:its connected through USB Network not available

I have installed a few colortracs with ipf-s but usually they have been iPF810/820s or 750s.

You must purchase a software for being able to make copies (copysmart).

Than the software will guide you through the installation process.

It is a pretty straight forward. Just follow the steps.

so but u didnt try it on ipf8300???,what i understand from you that i must purchase a software to be able to make copier ?is that's fair !! ? the client pay for this machine and also must pay to get the software to make scan and print ?

btw way the menu on the pc appear with three tabe print scan and setting as i remember.

You need to pay for each of them. That simple.

The software costs about 300-600 Eur. I don't remember which one exactly.
It is not much compared to what is does.

thanks for you explaining for me because this is the first time i install one at my client and the sales said to the client that it can do all of this and didnt said that it need software to make print ,that;s what really sudden me,im a technician at the end ,so know he can just make scan directly to pc no need to connect to the IPF8300,till bring this software ,but whats realy wired there's nothing said inside the option need to register the license .

the problem is solve by unistall the new driver that came with the machine and install the old on MFP and it works
