Color imageRUNNER C4080/ C4580/ C5180/ C5185
Introducing the Release of System Software Package v94.01.02 V3
The DCON Firmware has been revised from v67.01 to v68.03 to address several field claims.
see PDF>>>>>>>>>>>DCON Firmware.pdf
The following changes occur when upgrading the DCON of the Color imageRUNNER C4080/ C4580/ C5180/ C5185 copiers from v67.01 to v68.03:
Description
1--[Modification of a field claim] (CiRC5180 Series supported) Measure to prevent a "1200" jam:
In order to absorb the delay of paper passing command, modifications have been made so that the command is generated ahead of schedule.
2--[Modification of a field claim] (CiRC5180 Series supported) Jam occurs during a duplex job because the main motor keeps rotating.
Measure:* To use this function, the combination with MN-CONT v93.01 is required.
5--[Modification of a field claim] As the control timer does not stop after a finisher jam "1104", the device fails to stop, restarting the sequence.
To correct this, a modification has been made so that the device will not restart the sequence when the control timer times out after a jam.
6--[Modification of an error] When the center portion of the fixing belt breaks, the fixing assembly may continue to rotate.
To cope with this, the following error codes have been added so as to detect an error.
* E003-0003 In the event where the temperature of the fixing belt main thermistor does not reach a target temperature over a certain period of time in standby (A case where the belt breaks during a job or during warm-up time is assumed.)
* E003-0004 In the event where the temperature of the fixing belt main thermistor reaches a target temperature and remains at a temperature lower than the target temperature by ten degrees or more over a certain period of time (A case where the belt breaks in the normal state is assumed.)
7--[Modification of an error] At a low temperature, a poor image may appear due to the increased resistance of the long-used primary transfer roller. To cope with this, the upper limit has been changed
for the electric potential for image contrast at a low temperature.
8--[Modification of an error] When the temperature changes suddenly in an installation environment, there is a case where the ATVC control cannot be performed, causing a poor image. To cope with this, the requirements for performing the ATVC control has been changed.
