    Service mode > Copier > Option > Body > UI-RSCAN : 0=Don't display the scan, 1=Display.

Hi,Would not "i" in 4080i signify that it has a tab "Send"? This will allow scan documents as PDF/TIFF/JPEG file into a shared folder in PC."Scan" tab will require a Canon TWAIN scanner driver known as "Network Scangear" installed in a PC to detect your machine's scanner, plus another software that support TWAIN scanning.

I think you are correct but the tab can be turned off or on with UI-RScan as said in the first reply

I believe this setting is in Level 2 of service mode -hit add function (*)#(2)key after u are in level 1

          Copier > Option > Body > UI-RSCAN

          - UI-COPY: whether to display the Copy screen
          - UI-BOX: whether to display the Box screen
          - UI-SEND: whether to display the Send screen
          - UI-FAX: whether to display the FAX screen
          - UI-PRINT: whether to display the Print job screen
          - UI-RSCAN: whether to display the Scanner screen
          - UI-EPRNT: whether to display the Expansion print screen (EFI print screen)
          - UI-WEB: whether to display the Web browser screen

As a sideways issue you need to set up a fake email address for the machine to SEND. Something like 4080i@mysite.com. Remember it will not receive. You can import your address book but thats another topic.
