    [Jamming] Cannon IRC 1021i Jamming error

    Hi my first post I am having issues with my copier.

    I have this Canon imageRUNNER C1021i/C1021iF - Office Colour Printer - Canon UK the copier is reporting jams but their is no paper jammed. It seems as though the copier is failing to pull paper out of the drawer and reporting it as a jam. The top drawer started doing it and now a week later the other drawer is doing the same.

    Just looking for advice on how to fix it.

    is this for copies or prints from network/ or both ???? did u try the stack bypass ??

    Check the Registration Shutter and verify that the Shutter is working correctly with the Registration Sensor

    Check the cassette pickup roller and separation holder assembly's

      This is both for copying and printing over the network. I have tried the stack bypass and it works fine, the copier reports the jam being in either draw 1 or 2. I have looked at what I think is the pickup up roller is and It looks fine (as far as I can tell) but I am an end user not somene who repairs it. I dont know what a registrations shutter\sensor is or a seperation holder assesmbly Regards.

        try and print out this log---

        to enter service mode (hit main menu key > #2 key then #8 key> then main menu key),
        select Copier > Function > Misc.-P > Err and press ok.

        this should print out a log to check > do not do anything else while in service mode> exit after printing log--

        does control panel detect correct paper size loaded ?

        do u see a jam code/
        what size paper is loaded in tray ?



        to remove & inspect the pick up unit it is
        time to call a trained tech
