new Laserunits
new DC-PCB
new Main1 & 2 Controller
all Cables and Pins checked.
After Init Rotation the Error comes upand is permanent.

Any suggestions??

did u pt back your original settings>


E100-0300: BD error (laser scanner unit 2) CYAN_BLACK_
When the Laser Scanner Unit 2 (CBk laser) is started or print operation is processing, if the BD signal cannot be detected after the specified time.

E100-0300: BD error (laser scanner unit 2)

The BD signal cannot be detected when the Laser Scanner Unit 2 (C,Bk laser) is started or print operation is processing.

This model is equiped with two lasers : Laser Scanner Unit 1 ( left assembly) for Yellow and Magenta and Laser Scanner unit 2 (right assy)for Cyan and black. They've the same number: FM3-5425-000 for iRAC5030/5035. So, take care to replace unit 2 in your case. You can also interchange their position and verify if the error extention has changed.

Did you fix this fault .got the same problem .replaced dc con & bk/c laser .also showing error for yellow .

Did you ever figure this out? I have a new C5235 with this error. I have already replaced the laser unit.
intermittent error happens several times a day. I'm stumped, and busy!

ver. 19 = from factory ? u sure thought they came shipped with v32.04 in 2009

latest is v79.04.02 V2 for the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5051/ C5045/ C5035/ C5030

Make sure DC con ver is above 9. I believe it was dccon ver 9 that fixed the intermittent e100

I had this on a 5035 about a month ago. I had to replace the harness going from the laser assemblies to the dcon...the one made of little blue wires. It had a crack on the little contact board in the connector. You have to replace the whole harness. Good luck. You can temporarily remove the shutter from the laser assembly to rule out any shutter-not-opening issues.

This is probably the issue....put a piece of electrical tape(couple layers) to prevent arcing
