[Error Code] Preventing E004 Errors on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8000 Series

Preventing E004 Errors on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8000 Series-

an E004-0102 error code after working on the fixing unit for the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8105 / 8095 / 8085 models.
Improperly connecting the wires can blow FU15 on the main driver PCB.

To Prevent an E004-0102 error code after working on the fixing unit for the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8105 / 8095 / 8085 models.

always check these wire connections below !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On fuser unit >remove small black cover ( to view connections)

The 3 Pin Yellow Wires connector (PS45) >connects to the 3 Pin Gray Wires connector

The 2 Pin Purple Wires connector > connects to the2 Pin White Wires connector > which goes to Main Thermistor-

    see correct way pic>>>

If & when crossed > the 5v line is shorted>which will blow FU15 on the Main Driver PCB.

Wire lengths are different , but u can fit the 3 pin into the 2 pin (& visa/versa) as shown in picture-

    3 Pin yellow connected to
2 Pin White is what will blow fuse >FU15.

yeah we have had two techs blow the board as well after mixing the plugs up during assembly. costly mistake!
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
