Hi Every1
I had a iR3235N with a E248 error code. The manual said replace the main PCB but this did not solve the problem. From there we replaced the Hard drive and this solved the problem with the code. However we were then experiencing a problem where nothing on the panel would work except for the On/Off button. We changed the panel and the problem was still there. Eventually we started taking spares from a brand new machine to test, and discovered that it was the main PCB causing the problem.
After establishing that the main PCB is causing the problem with the panel, we refitted the "Test" main PCB to the new stock machine, however, when we powered it on, we noted that the new machine's meter reading went up from 35 prints/copies to 37655 prints/copies.... the same as the reading on the device with all the faults. So far we've tried clearing everything under the "clear" area of the service mode, formatted the hard drive and re-installed the system software, and we've replaced the counter PCB but nothing has helped to clear the counter back to 35. Has any of you ever had this, heard of this, have any suggestions or know of any solutions. Appreciate any assistance
