    CANON NPG-13 DRUM UNIT

Hi, I'm having problems with a drum unit right now. My customer is saying that after 1,000 prints. It has began to start blotching on the prints. Can anyone help me?

Have you been out to the machine to check it is actually the drum unit making the marks?

These drum units can sometimes leak as they have been sitting in stock for years, even though they are new, usually the underside tape strats to peel off & leak waste toner, I usually repair the unit with some tape.

What about the toner? also OEM? Since the unit is still new, you can save your company money by replacing only the cleaning blade in the drum unit. It is usually the problem, specially when running continuous copies. This is what we do here in this part of the world since the drum units can come come as separate components i.e cleaning blade, drum cylinder, charger roller etc. I'm not sure if its applicable in your country.
