iR2530 inner finisher-B1

I had to install this finisher on a new machine recently. No paper is coming out of the finisher at all ( it always jams after exit from the fixing unit). When I checked, something seems to be missing which could have provided a paper path ( or a guide) from the fixing exit to the finisher inlet.
Has someone come across this one? please let me know what can be the cause/solution.
n.b. The copier works fine without the finisher!

Hi Ndugu, did you first install the '' 2 Way Unit-B1?''. IT is a printer accessory kit, categorized as an OUTPUT accessory. This unit must be installed prior to installing the Inner finisher-B1. It comes as an optional accessory, I think.

No, I did not have that delivered in the consignment, perhaps I will have to make an order for one.

The requirements for the ''Inner finisher unit-B1'' to function properly are:
1)- Two way unit-B1.
2)-Power Supply Unit-U1.
Both come as optional accessories. Make sure you order both.

Dear all,

This series is a little bit confusing when the inner finisher has to be installed:

The Two way unit-B1 is included in the models: iR2525i, iR2530i, iR2535i, iR2545i, iR2535, iR2545. It should be added with iR2520, iR2525, iR2530, iR2520i when the finisher is installed.

Can anybody direct me to where i can get a video of how to install canon 2530i Finisher -B1, Two way unit-B1.
