Re: ira 5030i lost both pcl & ufr
Hi, Alex
There is a setting in Service Mode that might be the cause. Using the "i" button in Service Mode to guide you to look for this settings "Invalidate PDL" or something close to that meaning.
Hope it helps, cause it don't made any sense that the iRAdvance is without UFRII.Comment

Belated info, the setting is at level 1

Re: ira 5030i lost both pcl & ufr
thanks for all the pointers - but conclusion is some how someone has permanently deleted/disabled the licenses , and now have tried a last ditch attempt to install the ps option, lms give me a key but when entered on m/c it states 'the feature required for insatllation is not present' does this need extra memory? cant find any reference anywhere?Comment

Memory A needs to be added when adding Direct Print Kit-H1, PS Printer Kit-AE1 or imagePASS-B1.
Memory A (SOC memory) has 1GB.
Memory capacity becomes 1.5GB by adding the option expansion memory for Type B (512MG). Depending on the location, some models introduce 1.5GB for Memory A (SOC memory) as standard.Attached Files**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment
