Sounds like a duplex skew dog ear to me. Getting guides replaced. Inlet and top long guide. i also want to see if this machine has a SL11 deformed like on the 8500. Everything else was clean and in good shape. Machine has 13million.

If it is a pressed fold, it is before the fuser,
If it is a sticking up fold, it is after the fuser.
If single sided with no fold, it is in the duplex unit.
If it is 1 in 100, they need to spend more money on quality paper, not cheap crap that says on the label it is 99% jam free.

Most of the time it happens is with 67 pound paper and rare 20 pound. Its just before the fuser cause the image gets a skew.Comment

Sometimes the top left guide on the duplex assy gets worn and can cause skews on second sideComment

Yeah old post. The bottom flip out one needs replaced. Those guides were replaced and problem solved. The big pick up guide were getting busted sometimes too. They are happier with it than they used to be.Comment
