    IR3035 Jams / Error code 108

I have an IR3035 that jams and folds the paper like a fan. I replaced the fixing assy. Sometimes it jams with the paper coming out of the fixing assy. straight ,with the rest bunched up in the fixing assy. Any help would be appreciated. Thank's John

problem could be caused by a broken 1st paper delivery flapper in the 2nd delivery frame assembly. The part, FL2-1212-030 can be seen in the image below.

part tends to break at the point where the solenoid actuates the flapper.

        also----------------------------
Inspect the 2nd Delivery Frame Assembly. It is possible for the bearing, pictured on Figure Q38 item 29 on the operator side of the machine, to drop out of the frame. This bearing is on the end of the 2nd Vertical Path Roller item 8.
        Reposition bearing back in frame.
If there is excessive end play insert shim washer between the bearing and (E-clip)

When feeding letter media, paper jams just after the fixing assembly or Z folds. Inspect the 2nd Delivery Frame Assembly. Here's what fixed my problem. Repacing the two pads and when I was checking the bearing and flapper,I noticed one of spring loaded stubs and spring were missing (front) on the flapper assy.Don't know where that went or how it happened? But replaced it. So far so good. Thank You for your help.
