Irc 5870u : Customers (+it department- system admin. ) forgot id &password...

HELLO EVERYONE!
Customer moved the machine (irc5870U + desktop Ecopy) to difference floor,they forgot the ID&PASSWORD (person in charge :ADMIN &IT PERSONEL), when we reinstalled the machine.we only see the Ecopy in the network...(assigned the same IP address) but can not see the machine ...I reseted system management password ,MMI,Mdcon...reboot the machine several times....still can not create the new ID&PW (so I can change IP adress in TCP/IP. : I saw at the bottom left only "CANCELL " ICON show (availlable to touch)....On the bottom right :the "OK" ICON : GREY OUT...how to fix this problems...Thank you .

Forgot Department ID Management Password and the System Settings or System Manager Password

For the imageRUNNER-iR Series, imagePRESS and other Color-Enabled imageRUNNER models:

1) Go into Service Mode by hitting [Additional Functions> then #2 and #8 key together-> then Additional Functions]
2) Select [COPIER]
3) Select [FUNCTION] (One of the buttons across the top of the LCD)
4) Select [CLEAR]
5) Scroll to screen two of the LCD using the Right arrow key.
6) Select [PWD-CLR]
7) Hit [OK]
8) Hit the RESET button twice in order to return to the Main LCD Screen. This will turn off the Department ID Management feature on the machine (without deleting the configured Department IDs and Passwords) and will clear out (delete) the System Manager ID and Password.

It might be necessary to Power the unit Off and then Back ON.

Thank you very much for helping Me... but the procedure you gave to Us is to clear DEPARTMENT ID/PW...THE THING WE GOT STUCK IS : SYSTEM MANAGER ( SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION ) ID/PW :IN ORDER TO LOG IN TO CHANG TCP/IP (NETWORK THINGS) :administration for got ID/PW : you hit system setting-network setting -then the log on requires :SYSTEM MANAGER ID /PW.

U Can try a MMI Clear


REMEMBER THIS>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The
MMI Clear will remove information pertaining to the Machine User Settings, such as, ID Modes, ID Group, Passwords, Mode Memory, IP Addresses and network settings. It does not delete address book.
Print out the User Data Lists, P-Print and any other prints that may contain User Settings before clearing MMI.

To Perform MMI Clear:
1) Go into Service Mode level 1. (Service Mode) [Additional Functions> then #2 and #8 key together-> then Additional Functions]
2) Hit Copier.
3) Hit Function.
4) Hit Clear.
5) Hit MMI and select OK.
6) Wait for the OK button to return and reboot the copier.

NOTE:after procedure check setting below

if u have an imagePass Fiery connected>>Copier > Option > INT-FACE > IMG-CONT needs to be set to "3'
