canon ir 1210 error e100

having a problem with ir 1210 error code e100 when doing a copy the scanner goes on and stops in the middle of scanning
anyone have an idea ?

try replace the LD unit...

Hi,
E100 is LASER error.The laser beam is not detected.Maybe its dead.Check wiring on the main controller at the back first.

Check laser shutter actuator on back of drum unit .they get broken and dont open the shutter so E100
