    E020-100 IRC 2380i Fault

    Hello

    I have a new error, in which I am not familiar with;

    E020-100

    I took a look through the service manual and isolated to;

    E020-010x: outside correction range (upper limit) error 2

    At time of printing, the patch density data of the color in question as determined by ATR control is outside the range of correction (upper limit)

    With yellow the issue, the countermeasures are;

    Check the toner leakage from the toner buffer block within the developing assembly. Replace the patch image reading sensor.

    My thinking at present. The ATR is on the process unit at the front, inspect, clean, test.

    Can anyone tell me were the toner buffer block is, I presume on the yellow drum?

    As always I thank you.

    is there any yellow printing at all when you run a test print or auto gradation page?

    you could be missing the drive to the developing unit and there are several articles from Canon on this.
    Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
