Canon IRC3220 VS iRC4080i

Dear all ,

kindly i want to ask about these machines which one of it the running cost less ,and which better ? ,because actually i just worked on IRC 3100 ser , and ClC3200 ser.

and im looking for canon color copier which is less running cost and less problems , to discuses with my company to trade with .

and if there's a chart that put the differences

Forget the 3100

Picky graphics people prefer the copies on 3200
5180 fuser is very expensive, you can rebuild 3200 fuser
5180 drums cost a bit less than 3200
evrything else is about equal.
I have seen 5180 with over 2 million copies.

5180 better for Card stock-

Hello, just to add me 2c's worth:

As has already been said the iRC3220 is maginally the better machine not withstanding the drums cost more that the iRC4080/4580/5185 range and with the fact a new fuser for the 4580's id hideiously expensive (in certain conditions you can replace parts but if they throw an error code - forget it)

If your company insist on going down the 4580 route go for the CLC4040/5151. Apart from toner they are the same machines as the 4580's but as they come with the fiery the quality is a hell of a lot better.

But in your case head for the iRC3220's.

I couldn't agree more that graphic houses hate the 5180/ 5185.

Every one I ever had (even with a Fiery) in a graphics shop or color critical location drove me nuts.

The worst ones were the customers who had a 3220 and then "ugraded" to a 5185 when the lease was up.

it's those idiot salespeoplewhen that line first came out & customers couldn't make a demo appointment
