    Probably the output of the non-contact thermistor does not reach 60'C within 240 sec after it has reached 40'C

        E020 There is a fault associated with the drum/developer.
        For the first 2 digits of detail code xx12 through xxD0,
        xx=01: Y
        xx=02: M
        xx=03: C
        xx=04: Bk

        xxC0 The supply of toner for the toner
        container to the developing assembly
        is faulty. The developing
        assembly is supplied with toner
        excessively. The ATR sensor has
        an open circuit.

          Hombre is right .. It needs a Mag. Drum at least .. Check Drum lifes to make sure other ones dont need replacing also.. Before you start make sure drums are seated correctly ..but change anyway if over 200>250%.. Good Luck

              E020 codes

              In IRC e020 is always the drum unit or the pattern reader. always check your Copier>Display>Misc and you will see your drum life anything over 100 means you made the actual life of the drum.. also check the toner cart because if the tonner is old or cakeing it will cause e020-00D0 B0 is end of life. If you put a drum in and get e020-xx34 at start up you have a bum drum put it up for warranty. On this topic since your looking at the drum life goto the counter> and check your Tsht and blade lifes.. ITB belt life is usually 300k and itb blade is 100k (why 100k> well I have tested this and left a blade in for the life of ITB and noticed over time the blade will vibrate and cause 2-4 mm banding even if cleaned regularly and lubed with clc500 drum powder) On any IRC 3200 machine the drums ITB belt transfer rollers and 2nd Trans roller and fuser are the most replaces parts.

              So back to e020.. it is hard to recover from a e020 so best bet replace the drums if the error comes back start checking ITB and pattern reader and clean the inside of the drum area well. Good luck

                only replace the drum if it is over 100% if it isn't then you need to clean the SALT sensor

                  I'm guessing the SALT sensor is internal to the drum unit. Do you take the drum unit apart to clean it?

                    If you open the right side where the bypass try is there is a little panel held on with one screw...take that panel off then open the front door and drop down the blue handle...now you can pull out the transfer unit you can get the unit out without disconnecting the bypass unit i would recommend taking it off(there is 1 screw and a plate on the front rail. After you get the ITB out OH!!! above the ITB before you take it out there is a little blue handle that you have to lift. <---That is that SALT sensor. Push the black cover to the right and look under the unit the SALT sensor is the middle sensor...the two sensors on the side are for registration since you are that far in you should clean those too...if you have registration problems in the future then first you should clean those sensors and reboot the machine.
                    I get the feeling your not a tech so good luck
