    Canon IR7105 Finisher

    Hello
I have a Canon IR7105 with a V1 fisnisher but the problem is simple in first sight.(I bought like this)
Lower tray of finisher dont work and never moves and paper get out on upper tray, but also upper try never moves and i have to move it manually by pressing the switch on the lower side of tray.On the copier monitor it says:"Finisher is out of use",but i can use it.
I can do sorted copies but i have to devide by hands.
What i can do to make fully functional and able to use staples, because it is so hard to staple with hands 10k-20k copies in a day
    Thanks

Additional Functions>Common Settings>Limited Functions Mode and select "OFF".

check that limited functions are set to off.

Under the limited functions tab now there are two pages for limited function. Be sure to check both pages. It has been found that if you change service mode level 1 Copier>Option>Body TR-SP-C1, TR-SPC2, TR-SP-C3 and TR-SP-C4 and if the value is set to 2 on the paper source you are running, everything will be delivered to tray A.
TR-SP-C1 is for the paper type. C1 is for the right paper deck, C2 is for the left paper deck, C3 is for drawer 3, C4 is for drawer 4, MF is for the bypass and DK is for the side paper deck.

As bulletin says sensor number 2 is faulty or Buffer Path sensor 2.
When i go to Additional Functions>Common Settings>Limited Functions Mode and select "OFF",automatically after restart,Limited Funnction Mode is set to ON by itself.

          Power off>>
Check dip switch bank on the finisher controller if in 'OFF' position.
change both switches to the 'ON' position and power cycle all components back on

Limited function mode is broken down to several settings where you can disable the punch unit, trays A/B, perfect binder, and folder unit. All these can now be done individually-

When LED 108 is not lit on the Finisher Controller pcb but all the other LED's are lit properly,
check the LCD display on the Control Panel for the message Finisher cannot be used.

If the message Finisher cannot be used is displayed or Ready to Copy (Functions Limited) is on the display, enter Additional Functions, select Common Settings, then scroll to and select Limited Functions Mode. If Finisher Tray A/B is ON change the setting to OFF then press OK. Make sure everything else under Limited Functions Mode is set to OFF, then power the copier and finisher off. Turned the finisher then the copier back on and see if LED 108 on the Finisher Controller comes on and the finisher cycles.

Whenever Finisher Tray A/B is set to ON under Limited Functions Mode, LED 108 on the Finisher Controller pcb will not come on.

          Copier > Option > Body > TR-SP-MF > 0 (Manual Feed)
          Copier > Option > Body > TR-SP-DK > 0 (Side Deck)

          Last resort is do a
MMI clear and power cycling the machine---U WILL HAVE TO RE-INPUT ANY CHANGED SETTINGS BELOW
Use it to reset user mode settings.

Teckat,i was able to activate finisher by dissabling and enabling in SM but i got E000532-8001.

It has problems with stapler mechanism, because i heard something like hammer stapling.

              ARCNET Connections--imageRUNNER 7105-7095-7086-All.pdf

              Turning ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS>SYSTEM>NETWORK>TCP/IP>
MULTICAST DISCOVERY to OFFand then all the LIMITED FUNCTION settings to OFF reboot machine may resolved the E532 code.

On the Fuse Box PCB, check pins 1, 2, and 3 on J418 and pin 1 on J416 for 24 volts. If there is no voltage present, press and hold the reset button on the bottom of the Relay on the Fuse Box PCB. If you then get 24 volts on J418 and J416 while holding the button, check the harness on J413 for continuity across pins 2 and 3. There must be continuity across the two pins or the Relay turns off the 24 volts to the stapler. If you are getting not continuity at that harness, check MSW5 and MSW6.
