    canon ir2870 and ir3045

    Did any big bro know what kind of grease need to apply to fixing ass's when we change the fixing film.I had tried many kind of grease like G 300,g-500...it won't work still paper jam becouse of fixing film not turning!!Pls help tell me where can find original grease that canon was using!!

    Do you still remember the good old canon or xerox fuser oils we used in some analogue machines? Try it if u can hold of one.

      you mean xerox fuser oil that use in DC 12 ??

          Yes, those SILICON oils. I think Canon NP155 etc. Xerox fuser oils...Silicon oils. I prefer to use them than those grease which come with the fuser films. They provide smoother lubrication and have long lasting heat resisting effects. Well, that is my experience so far.

            i use grease from densi. it somes in tins and works well. canon has their own listed somewhere. tech support can probably give you the part number if its not in the service manual
