    Canon IRC2570 problem

    Dear all ,

    i have canon IRC2570 which jams when printing ,i enter the jams code and saw the diagram they said that PS9 sensor delayed ? i check the sensor it looks in a good condition ,when i use the by pass it work normally only this happen when i want to print or copy from 1st cassette or the 2nd



    also it give error code E000747-3f02 and sometimes it gives E000748 when i turn on the machine ,i cleaned the all the PCI cards and it works but not sure till when it will work any clues ?

    E747\748 are communication issues--- board cleaning is good -- re-seat properly / check cables-




    the metal plate that holds the sensor flag may be deformed.
    The flag may be too close to the sensor, the flag at times may not pull all the way back out of the sensor and generate a jam. Reformed to correct this issue.

    Below is a picture of the sensor with an arrow pointing at the plate that needed to be reformed.

    sensor flag wears down changing the actuation point for PS9.


    Replace pre-registration flag (FC5-0484-000) if worn
