    book says dc controller not stopping whatever that means anyone seen this and have any idea what to do turning on and off did not work thanks

          That means: The DC-controller is not "powering off" even if you're swithing off the machine. Try to "unplug" it, wait about 10 seconds, plug it and switch on.
