Customer wants to use DHCP is there anything else to turn on besides dhcp in network settings to activate or is that it. It will not find address, when we manually enter ip add. it works.

To Confirm the IP address obtained from a DHCP server enter ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS > SYSTEM SETTINGS > NETWORK SETTINGS > VIEW IP ADDRESS

The obtained address will be listed there. If no address is listed; then an address was not obtained from the DHCP server.

    Can U ping iR1023iF.

Verify the TCP/IP address is not a duplicate address.
Verify that the correct Gateway address and subnet mask are setup in the ip settings of the imageRUNNER Device.
Missing any of the above settings will not allow to ping the unit or print to it. After entering the Gateway address the unit would reply to the ping command and print correctly even if the network does not have a Gateway.

If the network does not have a Gateway, enter a random number that is not in the customer IP scheme. For example if the customers copier IP address is 146.184.130.023, enter the gateway address of 100.100.100.100.

To enter the network information on the copier:
    Select the Additional Functions key.
Scroll to the Systems settings option. Select the OK key.
Scroll to the Network settings option. Select the OK key.
TCP/IP settings is displayed. Select the OK key.
The TCP/IP address, Sub Net mask and Gate way address are entered in the section.
After entering the addresses exit out and power cycle the copier.
