Canon IR1023 IF will show jam with duplex mode on

Hi guys, We traded in a canon IR1023IF that does nor pull the copy back in in duplex mode, only copies the one side and exits machine.It should pull the first side back in to duplex the second side.
Anybody seen this?

select additional function common setting, #14 initialize common settings, scroll to on, press ok. Exit to normal screen
