    wierd problem while printing IR 2200

    I have a canon ir 2200 machine and it is networked to a 8 port d link self managed switch, 3 computers having same config. are setup to give prints problem is that out of 3, 1 is spooling very slowly rest 2 are working fine.
    on querying for device status from each computer [ir2200>properties>device settings>get device status] 2 pc which are working fine gets status back but one with slow spooling does not gets back the device status [but while printing faulty computer spools at 64 kbps rate which is too low for such a fast printer]
    i have tried changing and updating drivers PCL 5e,6 PS changing lan cable, NIC card also ..but no success
    rest 2 pc working fine have PCL 5e drivers
    please give your views and troubleshooting methods

    Either computer problem or router. I had one that would drop half it's packets once in a while. Causing slow printing or it would print half a page for color prints.

      First at all, do a ping from all clients to the printer, are the results equal?
      second, connect the "slow" client directly to the printer, does it improve?
      if so, there is a bad router/switch in the way
      third, try to set the ethernet speed from the faulty client from auto negotation to 100mb/full duplex
      let me hear the results

        hey thanks for the replyyes the faulty computer pings the printer but packets are lost in between and also internet has stopped working on that comp.what I have figured out is that MOBO is faulty connecting directly to the printer is of no use as it says network cable unplugged!
