IR2200 Boot Rom Install

I've received a network printer kit for a Canon IR2200 Copier. I've installed the ethernet card but was looking for instructions on where to install the boot rom chip, along with any instructions on how to install the software that came with it.

The bootrom goes inside the silver box in the
back of the machine. You will have to upgrade the system software to the "N" version to make it work. Check your messages.

yes it right..

if you don't change your bootrom to N series...
the network work... but not for printer.. its work just for scangear...

Thanks for the responses.... I received help from a local copier tech who pointed me to the correct slot to install the rom chip and talked me through the software installation process.

Any time. I probably know that local tech, since through the years I've worked with most all of the Canon, Ricoh and Mita techs in the Memphis area.
