this is a HDD Descriptor File
    HDPI 0000000000000000C62054CD01000000
    FE060001003F0ABF340C000000000080
    FE060B81344B92FF1788008000000060
    FE0693C14BD3FFFF0BC400E000000030
    FE06FFC15797FFFF35AF0110AA55001B

USED for Modifying the HDDDescriptor files
    Encrypted HDDFiles

Originally these HDD Descriptor Files were regular text files which could be edited to add new HDD formats when necessary.
More recently Canon has started encrypting the files to prevent them being edited.
As such, newer model Canon ImageRUNNER's will require that authentic Canon HDD's be installed should they require replacement.
Generic drives may not be on the list of supported drives for the SST and Canon will not release a list of supported drives.

If the HDFormat.ift file for the model you wish to format is Editable you can create a new entry in the file to allow it to support your hard drive.

        Re: ir3300

you search in C:\Canon File Folder\SST System Software Folder\SST Files

then select the folder for the model u have registered>sometimes it's in the iRXXXX folder, or iRCXXX folder or iRXX folder or a HDFormat_vXX.XX folder- it's there u have to search around sometimes

u look for HDFormat.ift file in it > open with Notepad to view> either u can see listed HDD's or u will see encrypted characters that block text-

        Encrypted like this below
