Ir5570 status "wait....."

    Ir5570 status "wait....."

    Why my machine show status wait... on my screen after scan the document. Sometimes I need 1 minute to get the copy, but sometime the machine hang, so I must to restart my machine.

    Please your advice

    You need to upgrade/re-install firmware.

      If the imageRUNNER will come to ready with the Finisher disconnected there may be a fault in communication with the Finisher, even though no error code is indicated.

      Check to see if the Staple Cartridge is properly seated.
      Check to see if the Fixing temperature is rising

      could also be a faulty laser assembly
      **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

        I don't use finisher in my machine.

        Next time I will check the fixing temperature. By the way, how fixing temperature range under normal condition?
