hie guys ,i have got my canon 2318 machine which is giving an error 00030.000does any 1 have any idea about this error code,please help im stranded.

Hi, Have a closer look at the error code again: Could it be EOO3-000? If this be so, then you have trouble in the fixing film unit. Abnormally low temperature is detected by the main thermistor. After the temperature detected by the main Thermistor has reached the specified value, it does not reach the specified value during the initial rotation. In short, the machine is not warming up.
What then can one do? Well, if you are a tech, try any of the following counter measures:
- check the connector of the fixing film.
- Replace the fixing film unit.
- Replace the DC controller board. But before you do all these, TRY to RESET the copier in service mode:
- COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERROR.
- OR if you are not a tech,then call a qualified tech to help you.
