Advice the customer not to leave unused papers in the paper cassettes at the close of business everyday. They should remove the unused papers and put back in the wrapper to avoid or minimize moisture effects.

        Hello,

When the fixing delivery flapper (item 17 in the figure) stays a"long" time without moving, it will stick to the dumpers (items 5 in the figure). This will lead to a systematic jam in the morning first print. This issue is frequent in this model.

FC9-4659-000 is the white pad damper. It replaced the black damper which was very subject to heat from that area. I think Rachid hit it right on the head. Check jam code. Its probably 0108

            Hello!

I have also first page jam on IR3025 but Rachid's solution works for me to. I just cover the pad damper with electrical tape and this works great, no problem since then.

Rachid, how can I buy you a bear or cup of coffee for a great help?

            Best regards,
            Big B.

Nope! Changing pads is not helping! Paper still jams at the top of the printer, only the first page jam when printer is cold then works normally till next day. It looks like that paper does not get in to hole for delivery tray.

              Any more suggestions?
I saw that IR3235 is little different at the top from IR3025, it has two sticks at the top which direct the paper into delivery tray. It looks like that part is comaptible with the IR3025.

What exactly did you do? Are you a tech? If yes please post a jam code.Do you know that each sensor flag and each flapper have damper pad.Did you check them all?

                  Hi,

No I am not a tech. There was no error code, it was just "Paper jam" error message.
It looks like I repair the wrong pair of pads but these pads were malfunctioning too.
So I looked again for malfunctioning pads and find them a little higher than previous pads, then I cover them with small peace of electrical tape and voila. And from this action no paper jam in printer, which it looks like a miracle to me.

I changed/cover with electrical tape totally 2 pair of pads on right door.

Thank you Zoraldinho for pointing me in right direction, if you want to drink a beer or coffee on my account just le me know.
                  Thanks again!
