Check your flapper on the door, might be broken or the sponges could compressed (worn).

Does the paper want to follow the Hot Roller around? If so, is the machine in a very high Humidity area? If so, the paper will be damp and you will probably require a Cassette Heater & PCB.

This is probably a dumb question, but is the offending tray dial set to the correct orientation?

The first thing I look at for 0108 jams are the black damper pads on the gate on the door. They get soft and compressed and the gate sticks to them. This is what vbei is referring to.

I'm thinking you may have a busted tray & the paper is feeding outside of the machine guides, especially if the A4R tray is ok.

As you say the A4 tray (assuming tray 1) is causing the jams - check if the rear paper guide inside the cassette moves independantly of the front adjusting guide, if so 1 or both of the gear shafts will be broken and when the cassette is shut into the machine the weight of the paper pushes the guide to the rear therefore the paper is fed up to 5mm outside the inlet guide of the fuser.
