Imagepass B2 and + PS print kit AR1

[Tricky]

Had to fit a Fiery B2 on a IR advance 5240i today. The salesman said the PS print kit AR1 is needed as well??

Cannot see the point as the Fiery has Post script and the network port on the copier is being used by the fiery.

Anyone know of any instance where the PS Kit would be needed along with a Fiery ?

For Fiery B1
Requires Additional Memory Type B1 (512MB)
23 PCL Printer Kit-AE1, PS Printer Kit-AE1, imagePASS-B1 and ColorPASS-GX300 cannot be installed at the same time.

I would suspect B2 would be similar

The imagePASS B2--embeds computer connectivity and highly efficient PostScript and PCL printing capacity into the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5255/C5250/C5240/
C5235 series copier.
