[Misc] reboot it doen't get ready

i have gotten myself a canon clc3220, and when i turn it on, as the booting is about completing it reboots.
but when i turned it on and ejected the bypass tray, the power stayed and the booting pass the initializing
and indicated the bypass was opened and when i closed the bypass tray, the power recycled and the booting
    started again and again.

can someone please help me with what to do?

It sounds like you have a short somewhere in that right had tray unit.

Try unplugging each of the drive motors in that unit & close the unit up see if with the motors unpluuged the machine comes to "ready" with the draw closed, you may have a failed motor, also check for staples, paper clips in the connection area.

i have changed the unit completely but still the same issue. The power keep recycling and i have to released that it is not only the bypass unit when ejected the power stays but the fuser unit as well. that is when you eject one the power stays. can't seems to get my hands on it, could it be that the power coming to the two sockets that the fuser and the bypass units are connected to or coming from the main power circuit.

I had a similar problem with an IRC3080, the unit would reboot, I traced it to a fowl smell when I removed the rear cover (could'nt smell it with the cover on) and it was a ghekko sandwiched between 2 PCBs causing the short (can't remember which PCS), but were located about the middle/rear of the machine, I removed and cleaned the PCBs (nearly threw up while doing it) reassembled & all worked fine after.

Front cover switch & Manual feed unit open/closed switch & Fixing feeder unit open/closed switch
==== DC power supply unit may be faulty
Try and replace that crappy Fuse Pcb/ causes many weird issues

          or
May be a faulty Sub Main Controller PCB
          / remove and re-seat
