    Canon ir5000i scan to network folder problems

    Have a server running Small Business Server 2003, XP and Windows 7 computers, have a Netgear Switch, Firewall turned OFF.
    When trying to scan to a network folder on a personal computer or the server it keeps telling me to "check the server, can not log in".
    Now I can see the computers and server on the screen but can not access them, I have several systems doing the same thing. Any suggestions? Thanks

      Yes it was registered, the problem was with the server not allowing the digital signature to pass. Fixed it. Thanks

      ================================================== ===========================

      Click Administrative Tools > Domain Controller Security Policy

      Under Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options

      Scroll down to Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always) and Disable it

      This only applies to SBS 2003
      so far we found that it comes enabled on this version.

            Now the fix only applies to the scan to a folder on the server, scanning to a Win 7 machine it is still unavailable. Has to be a setting in there also, just have to find it.
