The Universal Send Kit needs to be activated by obtaining andregistering a license key on the main unit via the License ManagementSystem (LMS).
The original Universal Send Kit-E1 was Sales Item Number 0749B002AA and was for use in the version 1 machines. This kit is not forward compatible with a version 2 machine.
However, the Universal Send Kit-E1 with a Sales Item Number of 0749B002AB can be used in a version 1 machine. This kit is backwards compatible and can be used in a version 1 and version 2 machine.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
