[Misc] Scan to email job won't clear.

    Hey gang....

I have an iRC3200 with U-Send that's giving me a bit of a headache. Customer has it configured for scan to email, and there's one job hung up in the system. We've tried going through System Monitor, and the RUI, but it just won't go away. Any suggestions? (other than replacing the machine... that's next!)

    Thanks- Steve

    CLEAR SERVERin Command Workstation
    Clear Server Enhancement:
This feature gives an option to the user to clear jobs for Held jobs, Active Jobs, Printed Jobs, Archived jobs (Server Internal), Archived jobs (Network Links), FreeForm Masters, and Scan jobs separately.

    Performing a clear server will:

    - Delete print jobs from all the queues (print, hold and direct)
    - Clear all jobs from the job log and
    - Erase any archived jobs that are saved on the internal server.
    - Erase any freeform jobs that are saved on the internal server

    or try this>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

In Service Mode by hitting Additional Functions, 2 and 8 simultaneously, and then Additional Functions. Enter Level 2 Service Mode by hitting Additional Functions and then the 2 key.
Press COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR, highlight SND-STUP, and hit OK. Wait about 20 seconds and reboot the imageRUNNER.

    or---------------as a last resort
you can try clearing the MMI on the copier.

    * IMPORTANT: When an imagePASS controller is attached to the copier, be sure to take the copier out of 'imagePASS mode' before clearing MMI. Otherwise, the copier may lock up. Enter service mode and hit COPIER > OPTION > INT-FACE. Set IMG-CONT to 0. Hit OK. Reboot the copier. Now the MMI can be safely cleared. After clearing MMI and rebooting, be sure to set the IMG-CONT back to 3 and reboot when you are ready to reconnect the imagePASS.

To clear MMI, enter Service Mode (hit Additional Functions, 2 and 8 simultaneously, and then Additional Functions), select COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR, highlight MMI, and hit OK. Wait about 20 seconds and reboot the imageRUNNER.

    * Caution: Performing a MMI clear will remove all network settings, memory mode, ID mode, Mailbox documents and Mailboxes from the machine.

    First>>>>>>>>>>
Print out a User's Data List by entering Additional Functions > Report Settings > Network > User's Data List to have a copy of the network settings.

Thanks for the input. I was trying to get as much infomation as I could for the customer. They're not under a maintenance agreement, so I was hoping to save them some $$ on a service call. I wound up going to their location, did an MMI clear, a MCON clear and a DCON clear before everything came back up properly. While I was there I re-flashed the firmware and reset all of their network settings. Everything working as it should now, except for scan to email. Their I.T. was off-site so he's going to have to reconfigure all their SMTP settings.

Yep... I made that mistake one time when I first started out. Never again!
