Canon IRC3080i. Toner all over the copier.

Never seen this model before. ( They are part of the bartner network that I belong to). I get a call from my sales rep, asking if I,d be willing to look at it and that there's toner all over the machine. Took at quick look at and scheduled to come back to vacum it all up. I've done several IRC 3220's. looked pretty much the same. Big surprise I took ot the small toners out vacumed up to that point. Trying to figure out how to get to the drums.Opened up the RT. Side expecting to see a Xfer belt. It looked more like the rt. side of an IR3035.Removed both drawers of the paper supply. and the collection bottle. Couldn't see no drums. Turned the black handle on the RT. nothing. I figured I,d remove the grey toner cover AND the black handle. Once I felt it was spring loaded I tried to pushit back on , but too late handle and springs came off. Tried for a while to get it back on but couldn't. I also inadvertently pull the sguare shaft. I can feel gears as i was trying to get it back in. Had someone go on the internet to find anyinfo NOTHING came UP. Please Help. You don,t have to say it , my ears are still ringing, fromyelling at my self. Thank's , John

Ouch! and only 2 screws too - I think Zoraldinho has the access you need, after vaccing out check your drum life Srv Mode > DISPLAY > MISC maybe drum units weary and floating too much toner - don't you hate it when you try to help, call in on the way to the club and all goes pear shaped.

Thank,s for the diagrams and response. I'll let you know how I make out. Do you have any info on replacing the black spring loaded handle, and the square shaft it goes on . It pulled forward and came out of the back of the copier. Thank,s John
