Re: iR-C2620 print problem
so u have a imagePass C1/C2 Fiery connected on back of iRC2620 Printer ????
yes/no
Open Interface Board is included with the imagePASS Series --- It uses the same slot in the copier as the UFR (Ultra Fast Rendering) Board (in the Multi-PDL Kit) (SURF Board) and is required for connectivity with the imageRUNNER.
When it is installed, UFR printing support is eliminated, as the UFR Board must be removed. Postscript and PCL printing are available.
did u remove the C1 Fiery I/F PCB from Printer> clean ends >re-seat
#853
Cause
-Using the wrong printer driver.
-The machine does not have the proper printer kit installed (e.g. UFR, PCL, PS kit(s)).
-The print job did not print because due to lack of resources on the printer (e.g. memory, HD space, etc).
-Print spooler on the machine is full.
-The number of secure print jobs have exceeded the maximum limit that can be reserved at this time.
Remedy
-Make sure that the printer driver that you’re using is the correct one for the operating system on the computer that you are printing from and specific to the printer model that you’re printing to.
-Check and verify that the correct and the required printer kit is Installed (e.g. UFR, PCL, PS kit(s)).
-Reduce the number of pages to print.
-Erase unnecessary jobs that are stuck or in reserve.
-Turn off spooler on the printer, ADDITIONAL FUNCTION > SYSTEM SETTINGS > NETWORK SETTINGS > USER SPOOLER, set this value to OFF.
-Print out or erase secured print jobs that are stored or waiting to be printed on the machine.
-Try printing again when other jobs have completed printing**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.** -

4-Power Cycle ON > the imageRUNNER.
5-Re-Enter Service mode (Additional Functions > 2 & 8 > Additional Functions).
Select Copier > Option > INT-FACE > IMG-CONT.
Change back this setting from "0" to "3" and press OK./now exit from the Service Mode
6-Now> Turn off the control panel power switch./then Turn off the main power switch.
7-Disconnect the Printer power cable (from the wall/floor outlet).
8-Next> connect the I/F cable from Fiery to Printer side-
9-Then > Connect the Cross-Over cable from Fiery to Printer
10-Connect Network cable from Fiery to wall Network connection
11-Connect the Fiery Power Cable to wall outlet-
12-Plug in 2620 Printer power cable to wall outlet

To print to an imageRUNNER 2620 with a C-Boot ROM>>>>>>>>>
If there is no N-Boot ROM installed then an EFI external controller like a C2 is needed to enable network printing with C-Boot ROM.
Or you can install Printer Kit A2 to enable USB printing.
Open Interface Board is included with the imagePASS Series --- It uses the same slot in the copier as the UFR (Ultra Fast Rendering) Board (in the Multi-PDL Kit) (SURF Board) and is required for connectivity with the imageRUNNER.

when u remove the Fiery which needs it's
Open Interface Board
You still have the Open Interface Board INSTALLED in the slot -
if u removed that Pcb> u now have NO Print option installed**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment

Re: iR-C2620 print problem
Your above-mentioned test print, are referring from LCD of "Printer" tab?
By chance, is this machine locked down with some gadget or Department ID is enabled to prevent any users from doing copying unless proper ID is given?Comment

Re: iR-C2620 print problem
Hi,Whatever Teckat has given is THE full instructions and simplified guide. You really wouldnt want to read that Servicw Manual unless you are having a bout of sleepless nights.Since you able to print the Fiery configuration sheets, it meant the print engine is working. Could you re-attach as PDFs, rather than jpeg?Comment
