    [Misc] Media Feed issue

    Hello All

I am using a IPF8000 to print onto the 380 GSM Canvas I am using PF 03 printhead with the updated 1.38 firmware.

I have cut loose sheets B0 Cnvas the printer will load the sheets of paper without any complaint however it registers the size of the sheet to be about 4 cm longer than it actually is. This happens consistently over a number of different sizes of cut sheet campus with varying degrees of error.

    I've tried to things
    1. I have recalibrated my printing software to print to the new size that the printer allocates what happens is it prints about halfway through and then stops altogether thinking that it has completed the job.
2 I cut be B0 sheet down by 4 cm to trick the printer into thinking that it is a B0 sheet, it will then print normally however when it runs out of canvas it will actually stop and give an error saying that it thinks that there should be more paper.

Has anyone had a similar problem with the printer? If so does anybody know a remedy?

    Re: Media Feed issue

I would start by cleaning the pinch rollers.
You might have a slipping issue.

Is the canvas - glossy type ?
Do you have length distortion in the image ?
Does it happen with other media ?

Piece of advice : It is always better to run paper in a roll...
