Canon IRC3220 Installed fax board but does not show on the screen

Hello;

We are a small company that found a great deal on a Canon IRC3220. It did not have any options except the Imagepass-C1 control. I wanted to install some options before I called the copier company to qualify the unit for a maintance agreement. I successfully installed the Color Send Kit A2P and the Resolution Switching Board A2. I installed a Super G3 Fax Board-M2, but the fax tab does not appear on the screen, nor is it displayed in the Send tab options. I do know how to access the first and second level of maintance modes. Please let me know if I am missing something.

Hello and thanks for your reply. Yes; I do have access to the service menus of all levels by add.func.,8+2,add.func. to get to the first level and then add.func., 2 to get to the second level, but I was wondering what bit to change to have the fax tab and options for the fax appear in the operator panel?

Fax

Must be a bad connection, that fax will be recognized automatically and show on the panel. Go over your connectors

For the fun of it check the software version of the copier in service mode and see if the fax ssw is installed.

Hello all;

MRSAVIN7 you were spot on! After rechecking the connection, the top connector with all the wires was not pushed in all the way. The fax works like a champ! Unfortunately, I still do not have a fax tab on the display. The fax icon is now in the SEND tab, but on other Image Runner C3220's, I have seen the fax tab. Software on the copier is:

You seem to have u-send installed on this machine also, that would be the reason for no fax tab.
