Hi to all, dear techs. I've got some issues with my RIPs.
1st colorpass Z40e (MXP02e) - I used it connected to a CLC 1100 and to a CLC 1130.
It works well when I send prints from pc, to both copiers, but when I need to do calibration procedure, I start from RIP control panel: it can send measure page to the copier, but it doesn't proceed in reading from copier plate and it interrupts comunications.
Everytime I must:
- close the procedure after sending measure page,
- read the measure page with another older CLC 700 and apply the calibration on its M20 (I've set up another profile for this purpose, so I can re-apply its original calibration)
- export the .mea file from M20 to my pc with its Fiery Calibrator program,
- open Colorwise Pro tools and load measures from file .mea, then apply the new calibration to Z40e.
...
2nd colorpass Z40 (MXP01) - I use it connected to the same CLC 1130.
It works well too in printing works, but when I start calibration procedure:
- from control panel it says it's "printing measure page" but it doesn't and it remains frozen in that message. I must switch off Rip and switch it on again;
- from Colorwise, I click the button Print, the program crashes and I must close it from task manager, the Rip doesn't receive nothing and I must click Menu button -> close session -> restart server to open again CWPT with this server.
I can apply a new calibration only from the same .mea file saved from M20!
....

Furthermore, in Colorwise, I can enter in Calibrator Menu and Profile Manager Menu, but Color Editor crashes when I select anyone of the listed profiles; it returns the message: "Errore durante l'attivazione dell'applicazione CWPT" (Error in opening CWPT application). The other menu continue to work, but the Color Editor dialog box doesn't shut down.
I've tryed to uninstall and reinstall CWPT many times but it has the same problem.
I wonder if - with these "world tour" - the calibration is really applied in my RIPs !?!
Can we solve these issues in any way?
Greetings from Barbara
