Purpose of the hard drive in a Large Format Printer
In those large format printers which are equipped with hard drives, job data can be saved on the HDD even during printing, which greatly reduces the time for which the customer is occupied by a print job. Additionally, if errors occur, there is no need to resend print jobs from the computer. After the error is cleared, job recovery can be handled efficiently.
Why and What
Erase HDD Data
[High Speed] Delete the file management information of the saved data in the HDD.
[Secure High Spd.] Overwrite the random data in the whole of the hard disk drive.
[Secure] Overwrite 00 and FF and random data in the whole of the hard disk drive once at a time.
Execute the verify check whether the data has written correctly to the hard disk drive.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
