iR3570 printing problem

Good days guys,

Recently I facing with these iR3570 with intermittent printing problem. I notice if the printing on pooling which have sent to these machine the machine will "hang". The machine will display at the screen processing and keeps waiting to print out. My customer need to wait until there fed up there will switch OFF the main switch and ON again. After the machine reboot the machine will print out the document which has sent earlier.

My customer have get their IT guy to check their office network environment its seem no problem. Lastly for U SEND function on these machine no problem. Any idea what's wrong with it guys ?

Hey, first thing u should do is to try machine on some other independent lap top or desktop machine with new drivers and new network setings so u can be surtent that machine don't have any problem with driver or network isues. Second one I had some similiour problems but with pdf files send from adobe 9.0 where u have default LT format of paper,so if is not set to A4 or what ever ur machine has as default paper format u cant print out jobe u send from computer. Try it.

Since it prints out after the reboot, the job is fully making it to the 3570 HDD. This eliminates the network as an issue and leaves only the HDD or memory as the problem. Format the PDL partition of the HDD.

Copier-> Function-> System-> HD-Clear. 3= PDL File Storage Area

Before you do the clear you have to select which partition you want to format with "CHK-TYPE"

Enter 3 in CHK-TYPE and press OK.
Then press HD-Clear and press OK.

If the problem continues after the format I would replace the memory. If that fails I would replace the HDD.

Also make sure that no other device is trying to take over the IP address of the copier. If cell phones or other devices take over the IP address it will give you the same problem. (had this happen more than once)

Turn the copier off and see if you can ping that ip address to check.

Still on these same topic.Have tried all the method that you guys suggested but still same problem. I wonder is the main controller p.c.b will be the problem. Since the network cable is plug in to the main controller p.c.b.

Is anyone have change the main controller p.c.b to solve it ?

What message exactly you have on the screen? printing, waiting to print,waiting,processing....... Did you check memory?

waiting to process or waiting to print on a 2230 has been the boot rom needing reset, memory reset and can be the little ribbon cable on the main controller. Reset the cable or replace it! Some experience... Processing , processing and stuck processing on a 3300 is an old Hard drive that needs to be replaced.

TRy to load and install UFR print drivers for ir 3570.
May be there is problem with the driver u have installed.

-Does your machine work as a copier? If it is so, the Boot, the RAM and the HD are OK.
-Have you tried the machine with your Laptop and a crossover cable (use UFR)?
-Try to print with a USB connexion (Don't forget to specify the USB port in the driver properties).

Thank you all of you for the suggestions.

After a week++ monitor the problem I come to conclude the problem is the customer office network environment problem. I have tried out on one of the customer computer to ping to our copier IP address what happen was is not stable. Is shown Reply..........and intermittent Request time out then Reply....and Request time out.......

Out of 10 computer there 2 computer will have intermittent with these problem.
