New to canon. What is a

E000008-0001 Error Code? I have a service manual, and can get into service mode. I can't find this error listed. How do I read the code? My error listing is like: E000 then 0001 how do you determine what the code means? Thanks

The "E008" is the main code and the "0001-05" is the subcode for the E008.
