IR 5050n Black Touch Panel

I am working on a Canon IR 5050n. The first time it has no display on the touch panel, it has back light and there is green light on panel indicating power on. I reseated the boot rom and memory and the machine works. The next day problem returns and now the touch panel is totally black no back light but still has the green light. I reseated again the boot rom, memory, and all connector on the main controller including the hdd. but trouble remains. Any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks for your help..

Maybe check for a Loose Connector or a pinched Control Panel Wire - or dismantle the CP and reseat the Touchpanel & LCD connectors etc.
