iR1700 series and 2500 series copiers

I haven't worked on the newer Canons as of yet and will be putting in a proposal and would like to know if they are reliable or are there any problem areas I should know about.
    Thanks

2530 I had a dead network controller brand new. Also had an address book issue. Other than that no problems.
1740 we've got 3 in the field no problems as of yet. I really like the 1700 series they seem to be a lot more rugged than the 1300/1020 series, just the cost per copy is a bit much.

          Dear all,

I replaced the main controller on the IR2525 for a network issue. Some of these machines come with only english as a default language and an update is, then, necessary. In general, from my point of view and experience on canon machines, i noticed that on recent machines (IRxxxx models), there are too mutch PCBs related issues. This was not the case on NP models. On NP6030, NP4050, NP6241, NP5060, NP6050..., i have never replaced a DC controller for example. We still have them on stock.

          Rachid.
