      Dear Teckat

Thanks for the information you sent me. I found the drums part numbers and their corresponding estimation lives. The parts catalog for this model is not yet available in canon site. I am using the electronic service manual where the durable parts are listed. I found that the fixing belt unit part number is FM0-2710-000 but it is not contained in the canon data base list. If you have something different, I would appreciate your help.

      Thanks in advance.

      Rachid.

        FM0-0413-000 FIXING FILM UNIT

Tip If you ever fit a Fiery make sure you set copier / option / int-face / img-cont to 3 before starting work!
A tech killed a Fiery on a 52xx machine by changing the int-face once the fiery was connected, i am not sure if these are the same. If you get the eternal "please wait message" there is an auth-mode in level 2 of intface, setting this to a 1 cures this.

            Off the record!

These advance models are pieces off shit in every aspect! Now this is my opinion. Some may disagree and they surly have the right too. The fuser units are crap and the image quality sucks. But what does a customer know about image quality, unless they are a graphic artist, designers. Which I come across many of them in the field. They all seem to have problem with color matching. Plus what client care's about how much money you have to invest in keeping this machine up and running. All they know is "All parts are included, fix my machine". Its a premature machine and Canon his reaping all the benefits. I will however sell them, but not because of what they are expected to do, just because they say Canon. The name sells the machine. This is my opinion.
